A 22 year-old man filed a lawsuit against the infamous Jerry Sandusky last Monday. The suit alleges that Sandusky molested the man, who is being called “John Doe,” in 2004 while he was swimming at the Second Mile. John Doe was 14 at the time of the alleged sexual abuse.
John Doe also named Penn State University, Second Mile, the Edgewater Psychiatric Center and others as defendants in the lawsuit, alleging that they were all involved in allowing and covering up the sexual abuse that caused John Doe to suffer severe and lasting emotional injuries.
John Doe is seeking attorney’s fees and punitive damages on several grounds, including sexual assault, negligence, intentional infliction of emotional distress and civil conspiracy.
